The latest news from the Google is quite embarrassing. They revealed the huge number of URL removal requests received with respect to “ right to be forgotten” rule. That large number of people requested to remove certain URLs from the search results.

As per the information from Google, they received 34700 requests regarding URL removal of 1.2 million sites. As response 42 percentage of the cases were handled by removing.

They also stating an incident of UK. In that after Google removed a news story about a minor crime, the newspaper published story regarding the removal. The information Commissioner’s Office ordered them to remove the second story from search results for the minor’s name. Finally they removed the page from the search results because of the individual's name. This was the latest situation.

Among the site of which URLs removed, Facebook having the number one position. 10229 URLs removed. Profile Engine, Google Groups, Youtube, Badoo, Google plus, Annuaire, Twitter, Wheevent are other topers.

Even people are using internet and social networking sites in an active way. This is quite amazing thing. It really indicating the people's mind change. As it involved most of the popular companies. They really need to do a self introspection.
