IoT-Ideathon Concluded In the glory of 25 innovative IoT-Ideathon
Bangalore, India: The first IoT-Ideathon concluded in Bangalore in a grand way. 25 innovative ideas were being presented during the conference and which glorified the meet. The idea addressed issues such as Haptic Feedback for Physically Challenged, Smart Street lighting and Vaccine Monitoring. The 60 hour ongoing meet is hosted by VLSID 2015 conference in Bangalore and which is industry’s first IoT-Ideathon. Over 100 students and young professionals have participated in the conference and presented their innovative ideas of IoT. Awards were given for best IoT innovative idea and best IoT start-up. In the first category – Best IoT idea of IoT Ideathon( top three) the following people won.
Mosquito Density Sensing & Alarm – (Yogesh Singh, Vinay Joshi, Praveen Rathee, IIT Bombay) Automation for Physically Challenged - (Prajwal Prabhat , Arun PC , Bharathwaj M, CVC Pvt Ltd) Fall Detection- (Tarang Shah , Kaustubh Nawade, BITS Pilani) In best IoT Start-up section, Cardiac Design labs being selected. The Intelligent Healthcare IOT product MIRCaM could detect cardiac anomalies. The product needs proprietary algorithms to detect the same. Then it is uploaded to cloud for cardiologist’s supervision further.Dr Satya Gupta, Co General Chair, VLSI Conference appreciated the efforts of the young engineering talents wished them that their talents to become useful for India.
