How to save a Smartphone from water damage

We are very much conscious about our smartphones. What is the most frightening thing for us about our smartphone? Definitely it is when our smartphone fall into water. What a terrible situation it is...Isn’t it? Don’t be desperate. Here are certain steps you can follow to safeguard your phone.

Take it out as soon as possible

It should be as fast as possible as a reflex action. When your phone dip into water or came to contact with water, need to take it away from that. As the phone having different ports as the time passing water will reach to the inside parts. It will thus damage the circuit. So taking phone out as soon as possible reduce the damage.

Place it on a paper sheet or soft cloth and dispatch

After removing the phone from water, place it on a paper towel or a soft cloth. If the circuits inside the phones are not in contact with a power source (here in the case of phone it is battery), when it immersed in the water, the chance of getting damage will be reduced. To find out whether the phone is fully damaged check the corner near the place where the battery is. There will be a white square or circle with or without red lines, if that is pink or red color your phone is damaged .Then remove the battery immediately.

Keep Your Contacts! Remove the Sim immediately

When your phone dip into water, immediately remove the sim from the phone. Sim card survive water damage better. So immediately removing will safe guard it. Make it dry in a paper towel or soft cloth. Through this you can keep you contact safe.

Discharge all plugins

As soon as the phone dip into the phone, remove accessories such as ear buds, memory cards, phone cases and other protective covers. Then Place them in a neat place and make it to dry.

Dry your phone with a paper towel or soft cloth

 After all parts are discharged we need to ensure all the water is removed. So continues wiping with cloth or paper towel is needed in order ensure safety.
